Lufthansa Cargo increases Fuel Surcharge to 0.95 Euro/kg
Dear customer,
Prices for jet fuel have increased in the past weeks. As a result, the Fuel Price Index has
exceeded the thresholds of 565 for two consecutive weeks. Consequently, Lufthansa Cargo
is increasing its Fuel Surcharge, effective 31st of March 2008, from 0.90 to 0.95 Euros per kg
actual freight weight.
Lufthansa Cargo is increasing its Fuel Surcharge in accordance with our methodology based
on the Fuel Price Index. The Fuel Price Index reflects the average price of jet kerosene on
the world
